Hi,

RPi.GPIO does not work on the RPI 4 with the Debian kernel (not the
raspberry pi unofficial kernel). The auto-detection of the RPI model
fails. This is tracked in upstream bug
https://sourceforge.net/p/raspberry-gpio-python/tickets/191/

This is just a bug to ensure that this is tracked on the Debian side. I
suppose it will be resolved upstream.

According to upstream the issue should have been fixed by version 0.7.1a4
of the library. See:
https://sourceforge.net/p/raspberry-gpio-python/tickets/191/#68c1

Any chance that it will make it into testing?

If a test build is available I'll be happy to test it on my rpi 4B 8GB.
