Package: mount
Version: 2.36.1-1
Severity: normal
Dear Maintainer,
i rebooted my sid today and noticed that my cifs mounts from fstab not came up.
dmesg indicates " Unknown mount option "symfollow" ".
manually mounting them (sudo mount.cifs //mount /point -o opts) did the trick.
nevertheless to note that it's the first time this happened.

Control: reassign -1 cifs-utils
Reassigning to cifs-utils, as mount.cifs probably needs updating for
this.

I think this has been reported and fixed in util-linux:
https://github.com/karelzak/util-linux/issues/1193
Updating Fedora to the util-linux with that fix backported seems to fix
the issue for me.

Hello.
Older versions of binary packages:
https://snapshot.debian.org/binary/libmount1/
https://snapshot.debian.org/binary/mount/
It works for me and davfs. For autofs/cifs have to reboot probably.
Regards,
JK
