Hi,
Whilst working on the Reproducible Builds effort [0] we noticed that
usb-modeswitch-data could not be built reproducibly.
This is because it created a .tar archive whose members inherited the
uid/gid of the build user. A patch is thus attached that specifies
that the tar should encode them with uid 0 (root).
