Subject: tinc: breaks after upgrading libssl1.1 to v1.1.1b-1
Date: Thu, 28 Feb 2019 10:27:18 +0100
Package: tinc
Version: 1.1~pre17-1.1
Severity: grave
Justification: renders package unusable

Dear Maintainer,

after having upgraded libssl1.1 to 1.1.1b-1 (currently in sid), tinc
breaks with:

> Error while decrypting: error:060A7094:digital envelope routines:EVP_EncryptUpdate:invalid operation

Downgrading libssl1.1 to 1.1.1a-1 solves the issue.
Please feel free to reassign to libssl1.1 if you think it should be
fixed on their side.

Thanks,
Gian Piero.

I'm also hitting this issue on Debian Buster/Testing, after installing the
Tinc package from experimental. I'd like to use Tinc 1.1, but had to
downgrade to the Tinc 1.0 package in Buster for it to work properly.

I've just made an upload to delay-3 to address the SSL issue. Debdiff
attached. Let me know if I should delete the upload.
