For some reason the current version of the package only contains the
extension files for PHP 7.2, while Debian currently also has packages
php7.0, php7.1, and php7.3.

Rebuilding php-redis using dpkg-builpackage (after rebuilding various of its
dependencies, which also seem to suffer from this bug) generates a version that
does have the necessary extension files.

There is still software that has not been updated to supoprt php 7.2, as a result 
php 7.0, and php 7.1 should still be supported by this package - alternatively 
please release php7.X-redis packages. This bug is causing other software to break,
