This seems to be a bug with the init-system-helpers package, which ships
update-rc.d but doesn't cleanup those directories on removal, see
#834524.

Not sure it's a problem with Piuparts...

on the piuparts side we are tracking this as 834766 for which I have a
applied a fix (ignoring those directories…) in the develop branch today
and which I also deployed on piuparts.d.o.

Affected packages have also been rescheduled, hopefully there will be
good results tomorrow ;-)

Rather obviously I think 834524 should indeed be properly fixed in
init-system-helpers so that the fix/workaround for 834524 can be
removed, hopefully rather sooner than later.

#834524 is fixed in stretch by now and the fix for #834766 (available in piuparts.git branch develop and deployed on piuparts.d.o) is just a workaround, so I guess I can just revert this workaround again…

leaving this open as a reminder to do so.
