Subject: epiphany-browser: Selected text and controls not visible
Date: Sat, 23 Apr 2016 00:59:53 +0300
Package: epiphany-browser
Version: 3.20.1-1
Severity: important
Dear Maintainer,
*** Reporter, please consider answering these questions, where appropriate ***
* What led up to the situation?
After upgrading to Gnome 3.20 (from 3.18) selected text and controls
(like check boxes and radio buttons) are not visible on web pages.
* Suggested solution from #gnome (IRC)
Compile epiphany-browser against GTK v3.20 and NOT against 3.18 as it
is now.

epiphany has been compiled against gtk 3.20.
The problem most likely is that webkit2 is compiled against gtk 3.18.

I installed (apt dist-upgrade) version 3.20.1-2. If you compiled with
the correct version then the problem was not found. Please check the
following screen capture, where all problems are visible:
You can see in the Detailed Bug, the selected text blanks, the controls
not visible - missing borders:
