Package: php5.6-mysql
Version: 5.6.17+dfsg-5
Severity: important
Dear Maintainer,
php5.6-mysql does not provide the depreciated mysql_* interface.
This means that it cannot be installed in place of the old php5-mysql package.
Thanks,
Julian Calaby

Hi Ondřej,
That's disappointing. It'd have been nice if this was mentioned in the
changelog or NEWS file so people who maintain legacy PHP projects
which still use the old mysql_*() interface, like I do, know not to
upgrade.
Thanks,
