Hello,
the XFCE panel applet provided by xfce4-pulseaudio-plugin does not respect the
current GTK theme background color, neither the icon theme (see attached
screenshot).

In this particular case the panel background is dark, so fixing only the
applet's background color would result in an unreadable icon (dark on dark) -
the 2 issues have to be fixed jointly.

Panel icon really looks ugly on dark panel, because it has a fully white background - it's the only one icon amongst many. A transparent background and selectable colors for the pictogramm itself would be already a big improvement.
