Dear Maintainer,

*** Reporter, please consider answering these questions, where appropriate ***

   * What led up to the situation?

upgrading sid led to the installation of libastro1 4:15.08.1+dfsg-2 renders
subsurface uninstallable

   * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or
     ineffective)?

forcing the previous version of libastro1 fix the problem, but only as a
temporary solution

   * What was the outcome of this action?
   * What outcome did you expect instead?
