Please look at the attached two screenshots from autopkgtest.ubuntu.com.

One of them is package report page, from which we can see that sphinx fails on
ppc64el and succeeds on everything else. This one is correct (looking at the
sphinx tests never failed on amd64 on this server and never succeeded on
ppc64el).

Another one is search results for "sphinx" query, which says that sphinx fails
on amd64 and succeeds on everything else including ppc64el. This one is
incorrect.
