Duperemove is a simple tool for finding duplicated extents and submitting them for deduplication.
Deduplication is currently only supported on btrfs.

The package also includes some low level tools:
show-shared-extens - lists if 2 files shares the same extens
btrfs-extent-same - to directly use the btrfs-extent-same ioctl
hashstats - prints information about a duperemove hashfile

Hi!
A year and 11 days ago, you filed an ITP for duperemove. Yet, it's still
not in the archive. As I see from an aborted RFS (#784898) your work was
almost done with just a few minor points left to fix. I've grabbed your
version at the time and use it to this day.

So, what's holding up? Could you finish the package?
