Subject: Error (184645): Illegal character <59> in hex string
Date: Tue, 17 Jun 2014 12:35:22 +0200
[Message part 1 (text/plain, inline)]
Package: evince
Version: 3.4.0-3.1
Severity: important

attached are two files generated using xsane 0.998-3+b1(*) from an HP
Deskjet F2200 series scanner+printer. I used lineart + flatbed +
300dpi. The single page PDF was used with 'Save' option from XSane
while the two pages was saved using 'multipage' project.

The single page PDF document does not show any bad behavior. However
the two pages (first page duplicated) throws the following warning on
the command line:

[...]
Error (171032): Illegal character '{'
Error (171050): Unknown operator 'OMjtRBlI_&'
Error (171050): Illegal character '}'
Error (171103): Unknown operator ' e J g '
Error (171165): Unknown operator
'ɹc ҫS^ NgR1b0E`-K" -=eF?WZ ڽ'
Error (171166): Illegal character <b5> in hex string
Error (171167): Illegal character <e3> in hex string
[...]

Full log is attached as `full.log` using:

$ evince lineart_twopages.pdf  >& /tmp/full.log

xpdf or mupdf does not report any warning/errors, so I assume the PDF
is not corrupted.

Thanks

(*) yes I mean 0.998-3+b1, but for some reason PDF meta data mention
version 0.996
[lineart_singlepage.pdf (application/pdf, attachment)]
[lineart_twopages.pdf (application/pdf, attachment)]
[full.log (text/x-log, attachment)]
