Package: cacti
Version: 0.8.8b+dfsg-5
Severity: wishlist
Dear Maintainer,
currently, cacti insists on php5-mysql to be installed even
if the server has php5-mysqlnd.
Would be nice if cacti could make php5-mysqlnd an alternative.
Cheers
Sebastian

I am not 100% sure, but I think you have to file a bug against
libphp-adodb to solve this. php5-mysql is in the recommends of that
package, while php5-mysqlnd is not. On most systems (you could check
yours) recommends are installed by default as well as depends.
