Hi,

during a test with piuparts I noticed your package is no longer
installable in sid:

Package: software-center
Version: 5.1.2debian3.1
Depends: ... , python-aptdaemon (>= 0.40), ...

Package: python-aptdaemon
Source: aptdaemon
Version: 1.1.1-1
Depends: ... , python-gi, ...

Package: python-gi
Source: pygobject
Version: 3.10.1-1
Breaks: python-aptdaemon (<< 1.0), ... , software-center (<= 5.6.0-0ubuntu2)

this Breaks was added here:

pygobject (3.10.0-1) unstable; urgency=low
  * debian/control.in: Add Breaks for older python-aptdaemon and
    software-center (Ubuntu specific) to avoid potential crash caused by new
    python-gi with old python-aptdaemon. (LP: #1173249)

Cheers,

Andreas

Package: software-center
Followup-For: Bug #729080

Just ran across this too.
Gnome 3.10 just released "software" which looks alot like software-center,
so if its too much to keep maintained that could be a replacement.
