Package: wnpp
Severity: wishlist

* Package name    : catkin
  Version         : 0.1.23
  Upstream Author : Dirk Thomas <dthomas@osrfoundation.org>
* URL             : https://github.com/ros/catkin/tags
* License         : BSD-3-clause
  Programming Lang: Python
  Description : Low-level build system macros and infrastructure for ROS

Catkin contains CMake macros that are useful in the development of
ROS-related systems. In ROS Fuerte and later, many of the lower-level
ROS libraries are being migrated to be CMake only.

This description needs to spell out what a 'ROS' is somewhere in it.
Otherwise it is meaningless to the uninitiated.

Sorry, you are right. I will put your suggest in the control file. Otherwise,
ROS (Robot Operating System) provides libraries and tools to help software
developers create robot applications. It provides hardware abstraction, device
drivers, libraries, visualizers, message-passing, package management, and
more. ROS is licensed under an open source, BSD license.

Sorry,

I did a small confusion with catkin_pkg. The version of the package to ITP is
0.5.77.
