Hi,

the first post-wheezy debian-installer upload has a broken support for
CJK glyphs in the graphical installer. I supposed this package needed
an update, and that's indeed the case. I've done the following:
 - apt-get source ttf-cjk-compact-udeb
 - dch -n
 - chmod a+x po2ul.py
 - dpkg-buildpackage -b

Putting the resulting udeb under localudebs/ and rebuilding d-i fixes
at least the language selection screen (I haven't checked any further).

I can take care of uploading this package if you like.

sorry for not getting back to you sooner. Now would be a very nice time
for an upload, since I'd like to upload debian-installer to unstable
this week.

Fixing the broken CJK support would be very nice. Here's what I've
tested: I've run again the ./update script, and built an image with the
resulting udeb; switching between different CJK languages makes me
believe this is all we need to fix the missing glyphs issue we had in
the previous upload.

Could you perform an upload soon? (I can also take care of the upload
if you want me to.)

Hope you had a nice time at MiniDebConf. :-) (Apparently that was the
case given your last blog post. ;-))
