Package: liferea
Version: 1.10.2-1
Severity: normal

Dear Maintainer,

I have tried both nets ip4 and ip6 on local interface for proxy connection type, manual option:

# privoxy
server [::1]
port 8118

# tor
server 127.0.0.1
port 9050

both does not work: the program does not fetch feeds.

Did this work before? There's already a bug report from years ago about
liferea not working with a proxy running on localhost.

See: http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=555199

Can you tell me if this worked in the 1.8 series? If not, then this is
probably a duplicate bug report of 555199.

In the mean time, I've created a bug report upstream for you.

Upstream has closed this bug out as being due to the library libsoup.

I'm reassigning this bug report to the libsoup package.
