Dear Maintainer,

once i start pathological in a terminal, i receive the message:

Cannot load music: music/intro.xm

Indeed i can hear no intro music. However the background
music and all sound effects work. So it doesn't look like a general
sound card issue.

Hi,

It appears that there is something with the file itself. The actual error from pygame is "error
loading samplerate". If you rename background.xm to intro.xm it works fine.

Bye the way, your last patch seems to have a bug also. If you disable the music, pathological
throws an error. I haven't looked into that one yet.

Thanks,

Barry deFreese

Hi Barry,

you forgot to cc me. :)

Good idea! I also think now this could be a bug in pygame because in the
past the intro music was working but nowadays pygame appears to have
problems detecting the intro.xm file correctly.

I tried an easier approach. I have prepared a new release and converted
all xm files to ogg files. (Thanks to xmp and oggenc) The intro music is
audible again, hey!

Let me know what you think about it.

Hmm, are you sure you have played the latest revision -11 and not -10?
That's exactly the bug which i have dealt with in

http://bugs.debian.org/705417

Works for me. :)

Cheers,

Markus
