Dear Maintainer,

With Bash:

$ php -r 'echo $_ENV{"PATH"}, "\n";'
PHP Notice:  Undefined index: PATH in Command line code on line 1

The variable PATH is of course defined in my Bash.

  APT prefers testing-updates
  APT policy: (500, 'testing-updates'), (500, 'testing')
Architecture: i386 (i686)

Kernel: Linux 3.2.0-4-686-pae (SMP w/8 CPU cores)
Locale: LANG=en_US.utf8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.utf8 (charmap=UTF-8)
Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash

Versions of packages php5 depends on:
ii  libapache2-mod-php5  5.4.4-13
ii  php5-common          5.4.4-13

php5 recommends no packages.

php5 suggests no packages.
