If test results from the testing I requested on #701561 say "ioquake3 and
its bytecode JIT work on a non-Altivec PowerPC" (not necessarily a
powerpcspe) then I'm happy to turn off Altivec for both packages; until
then, I'm going to assume that it doesn't work without Altivec.
