Hi Nandaja,

What is bug 691191 meant for ? Is it an "intent to package" (ITP) ? Or a
"request for package" (RFP) ?

Regards,

Bart Martens

Subject: rspec-rails is packaged now
Date: Thu, 28 Mar 2013 20:25:41 +0530
Hi Nandaja,

rspec-rails 2.10.1 is packaged and new (it available in boutil's repo
- http://people.debian.org/~boutil/diaspora/README).

Option 1: You may try an older version of cucumber-rails compatible
with the rspec and rspec-rails versions in unstable.

Option 2: Jeremy has uploaded newer version of rspec in experimental
and I will try to update rspec-rails as well. You may directly target
experimental too once I'm able to upload a newer rspec-rails package
there.

I have just uploaded rspec-rails 2.13 to experimental, so you may try
to build cucumber-rails current version in experimental. You will need
little tweaks in pbuilder to build for experimental.

See
http://wiki.debian.org/PbuilderTricks?highlight=%28pbuilder%29|%28experimental%29#How_to_satisfy_experimental_dependencies
for building package for experimental.

Hi Praveen,

Maybe you're missing activemodel gem, for which a request for packaging
has been filed: http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=639167

Cheers,

Cédric

No it's already packaged. We can close that RFP.

$ apt-cache policy ruby-activemodel-3.2
ruby-activemodel-3.2:
  Installed: (none)
  Candidate: 3.2.6-3
  Version table:
     3.2.13-3 0
        150 http://ftp.de.debian.org/debian/ experimental/main amd64 Packages
     3.2.6-3 0
        500 http://ftp.kr.debian.org/debian/ sid/main amd64 Packages

I removed all packaged gems for rails and did bundle install. Even
then the same error is coming.

I have pushed the packaging to g.d.o can you check?

thanks
Praveen
