Dear Maintainer,

In Ubuntu, the attached patch was applied to achieve the following:

  * Transition package to use default java implementation only:
    - d/control: Drop BD's on default-jre-headless and openjdk-6-jdk.

This might be related to bug #683048; This package should really only
BD on default-jdk as it uses /usr/lib/jvm/default-java during the build
process and this is not always going to be openjdk-6-jdk.

This package just drops the surplus BD's; I've tested with openjdk-7 as
as default-jdk in Ubuntu quantal and it works OK.

Thanks for considering the patch.

Control: severity -1 serious

Dear Maintainer,

OpenJDK6 support will be dropped from Debian. Hence the severity of this
bug is release critical now. Please transition your package to use
OpenJDK7 as the default java implementation for Jessie. In most cases a
patch has already been provided for the transition. Please feel free to
ask questions about this bug report or the transition in general on the
debian-java mailing list.

For the Debian Java Team
