reassign 673297 libxml2
thanks
Reassigning to the correct package. Note, that this bug leads to an FTBFS
of unrelated software (shelxle).

I have tried to build shelxle_1.0.551-1 on the mipsel porterbox,
eder.debian.org, and the build was successful. So it's probably not a
problem in libxml2.
I suggest to request a give back of shelxle on mipsel and see if this
still happens.

Dear wb team,
shelxle 1.0.551-1 failed on mipsel with an error saying undefined
reference to gzopen64 in libxml2.so, but I cannot reproduce the
problem on eder.d.o, so I'd like to ask you to give it back and try
again.

Done. The chroots might need an upgrade or something. Buildd maintainers
didn't bother replying to me on that topic past times, let's see how it
goes…

Right, thanks :)
However, looks like the new build attempt failed with the same issue.
And https://buildd.debian.org/status/package.php?p=shelxle also shows
the same error on other archs. Shouldn't #673297 be reopenned ?
Note that according to google, the same "libxml2.so.2: undefined
reference to `gzopen64@ZLIB_1.2.3.3'" error is not even
Debian-specific.

No, the buildds (rem and alkman) have an old broken version of zlib1g.
Andreas, please upgrade those chroots.

all mips* and ia64 buildds dist-upgraded (except mayer which has an
old-style chroot and cannot be upgraded for the next 60 hours while
gcc is built - but it won't break other builds during that time).
