Thanks you for your report! While I understand that this problem is
annoying for you, it doesn't help to report the issue a third time as a
critical bug.

As you can see at

http://bugs.debian.org/664049

it is already forwarded upstream. Since the issue is not easy to solve,
I unfortunately don't expect a solution soon. Not even sure if it makes
it into Debian "wheezy".

However, feel free to help and send patches. I would be happy to
integrate them into Debian and upstream Dia. You can also discuss the
issue with the upstream maintainers at http://live.gnome.org/Dia
