I have installed aide-common on my desktop and Virtual Box servers running
debian stable. I had it installed on an older system, but when it was replaced
with this new one, it appears to work a bit to well. It never indicates any
changes. I have tried to “touch /bin/date” followed by aide.wrapper -C and
each time it returns AIDE, version 0.15.1
 ### All files match AIDE database. Looks okay!
I have added files and moved files but on five different platforms, (4 Virtual
1 Physical) I have never received an error.

I am still not sure why it started working but after submitting this bug,
After three days of no errors. I tried to reinitialize the aide database,
this time it actually added files to it. The initial database was only
around 209KB, after I reinitialized them tonight they became 7.5M on my
Virtual's. I assume I initialized with aideinit and not aide.wrapper -i. I
do seem to have an issue with the desktop running with the 99_aide_root
script enabled.
Thanks for all your time and hard work supporting Debain.

Blake
