Subject: wget should handle SIGINT to close the connection
Date: Tue, 24 Jan 2012 22:56:48 +0100
Package: wget
Version: 1.12-2.1
Severity: normal

wget should handle SIGINT to close the connection.
interrupting, with CTRL C for example, does not close it.

this causes a big amount of incoming packets wich causes outgoing RST packets.

there is definately no FIN packet, i confirmed that with wireshark.

Follow-up Comment #1, bug #38005 (project wget):

I cannot reproduce this bug report. On the other hand, checking the packets
using Wireshark, I saw all three required packets, FIN, FIN-ACK and ACK when
wget is sent SIGINT.
