tag 651463 upstream
thanks
Thanks for the heads up, it seems that the bug-fix upload I sent yesterday
triggered a rebuild of the package in all architectures and those who have
libevent2 now in unstable do not compile any more.
The issue is already known by upstream maintainer Niels Provos, who is also
libevent's maintainer. Unfortunately, it is not clear when it will be fixed
upstream.
The folks at Gentoo have also reported this in
https://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=333099. However, the patch they have
fixes one issue but does not fix the full transition to libevent2.
For more information see
http://code.google.com/p/honeyd/issues/detail?id=19

Javier

Well, yes, it would... :)

fwiw, that's /all/ architectures in unstable. libevent*-1.4-2 were
removed last Tuesday.

Version: 1.5c-10+rm
honeyd was last released with Debian 6.0 (squeeze) in
February 2011 and removed from Debian sid/unstable in 2013 (see
http://bugs.debian.org/707948 for details on the removal). Since
support for squeeze and squeeze-LTS has now ended, I'm closing all the
remaining bugs reported against this package.
