* Package name    : sshdfilter
  Version         : 1.5.7
  Upstream Author : Richard Gregory <greg@csc.liv.ac.uk>
* URL             : http://www.csc.liv.ac.uk/~greg/sshdfilter/
* License : GNU General Public License
  Programming Lang: Pperl
  Description : ssh brute force attack blocker

sshdfilter blocks the frequent brute force attacks on ssh daemons, it
does this by directly reading the sshd logging output (or syslog output)
and generating iptables (or ipfw) rules, the process can be quick enough
to block an attack before they get a chance to enter any password at
all.

Hi,

This is an automatic email to change the status of sshdfilter back from ITP
(Intent to Package) to RFP (Request for Package), because this bug hasn't seen
any activity during the last 12 months.

If you are still interested in adopting sshdfilter, please send a mail to
<control@bugs.debian.org> with:

 retitle 650836 ITP: sshdfilter -- ssh brute force attack blocker
 owner 650836 !
 thanks

However, it is not recommended to keep ITP for a long time without acting on
the package, as it might cause other prospective maintainers to refrain from
packaging that software. It is also a good idea to document your progress on
this ITP from time to time, by mailing <650836@bugs.debian.org>.

Thank you for your interest in Debian,
