Package: php5-mysql
Severity: normal
I installed php5-mysql and restarted apache. For some reason
php5-mysql doesn't work.
The cause of the problem appears to be that the
/etc/php5/apache2/conf.d directory isn't symlinked in Debian 6
Sid
ls -l /etc/php5/apache2/
conf.d -> ../conf.d
php.ini
Debian 6
ls -l /etc/php5/apache2
conf.d
php.ini

thank you
Hi,
I don't think that's a bug in the php5 package, but it must have
happened on your
local system. This is result of apt-get install php5-mysql on current
unstable in clean
chroot:
# ls -lR /etc/php5
/etc/php5:
total 8
drwxr-xr-x 2 root root 4096 Feb 8 19:17 apache2
drwxr-xr-x 2 root root 4096 Feb 8 19:16 conf.d
/etc/php5/apache2:
total 68
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 9 Feb 3 09:06 conf.d -> ../conf.d
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 68428 Feb 3 09:06 php.ini
/etc/php5/conf.d:
total 16
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 56 Feb 3 09:06 mysql.ini
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 57 Feb 3 09:06 mysqli.ini
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 52 Feb 3 09:06 pdo.ini
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 60 Feb 3 09:06 pdo_mysql.ini
If you are able to reproduce the bug, please reopen this bug report.
Thanks,
O.
