Hi,

emacs 24.1 is soon out and packaging the pre-releases in experimental
simplifies the introduction of emacs24 into sid. The latest pre-release
is 24.0.94, dated today 31/10, see
http://lists.gnu.org/archive/html/emacs-devel/2011-10/msg01298.html

available from
ftp://alpha.gnu.org/gnu/emacs/pretest/emacs-24.0.91.tar.gz

It has a _lot_ of new features, see e.g.
http://batsov.com/Emacs/2011/08/19/a-peek-at-emacs24.html

Thanks in advance!

Emacs pretest 24.0.97 was released on May 25 2012. Can you please
package it in experimental so it will end up in Wheezy before the
release? I can try to help with the packaging if needed,

Thanks!

I should have time to work on 24.1 this weekend.

Thanks
