After installing php5-intl Apache2 will no longer start but crashes with a seg fault.
[notice] seg fault or similar nasty error detected in the parent process
I do not get any useful information from the core dump.

I am having the same issue. Package php5-intl is recommended during install
of mediawiki 1.17.
Fresh install tonight (2.6.32-5-amd64 and php5-intl 5.3.3.7+squeeze3)
