Hi,
currently[1], gnutls26 does not compile on hurd-i386.
The problem is the use of PATH_MAX, which is not defined on Hurd.
The attached patch fixes the issue, making use of dynamic memory
allocation to build the path string. All the test suites pass.

Hello,
gnutls 2.12.8 has switched to p11-kit from the forked included copy of
pakchois. (The latter is the part of code your patch changes). Since
p11-kit built successfully on hurd I expect that gnutls26 2.12.8 will build
successfully on hurd. I will probably wait until p11-kit is in testing
before updating gnutls.

libgrypt now breaks the old version of gnutls, thus leading to build
dependencies issues. I see that p11-kit is now in testing, could you
update gnutls?

Hello,
I have just uploaded 2.12.10. I guess you'll need to build this
manually (with libgcryp11 1.4.6), as libgnutls' build-depends include
libgnutls26 (via gtk-doc-tools -> ... --> git) which I have made
uninstallable on gnu-hurd.
I am very sorry for causing you additionall work, I should have
uploaded the new gnutls before gcrypt. (There were some other good
arguments for pushing gcrypt first, but I forgot about hurd.)

That's fine, we have seen way bigger bootstraping issues :)
Thanks,

It was built successfully. Closing.
