Package: live-build
Version: 3.0~a26-1
Severity: minor

Interrupting the build with ^C may leave chroot/dev/pts mounted.

The only problem that results is inability to run lb clean without
manually unmounting.

The odd thing is that chroot/dev is *not* mounted.

hmm? Exit() in exit.sh does unmount it. please elaborate why you think
it's not doing what it is supposed to do.

hmm? lb_clean does unmount the pseudo-fs properly. please elaborate why
you think that manual unmounting is required before calling lb_clean.

Because it remains mounted.

Because it complains it cannot remove files there.

I also noticed that when I tried unmounting the filesystem it was busy
and there was apt-get process running (or dying or whatever).

A minute later it would unmount without issues.

Thanks

Michal

no, it doesn't.

having processes hanging in the chroot is nothing we really can fix in
the short time, at longer time, we'll use optionally lxc or cgroups for
that.
