Hi Daniel

This package landed in Ubuntu for 11.10; I've not managed to find the
time yet to re-review the packaging and prepare for Debian (likely to
be next year now...)

I'm no perl expert and I was seeing some odd issues with core dumps on
first startup on Ubuntu; perhaps you could take a look at the Ubuntu
packages and see if you get the same issues in Debian.

Cheers

James

retitle 635930 RFP: octopussy -- log analyzer, alerter & reporter
noowner 635930
tag 635930 - pending
thanks

Hi,

This is an automatic email to change the status of octopussy back from ITP
(Intent to Package) to RFP (Request for Package), because this bug hasn't seen
any activity during the last 12 months.

If you are still interested in adopting octopussy, please send a mail to
<control@bugs.debian.org> with:

retitle 635930 ITP: octopussy -- log analyzer, alerter & reporter
 owner 635930 !
 thanks

However, it is not recommended to keep ITP for a long time without acting on
the package, as it might cause other prospective maintainers to refrain from
packaging that software. It is also a good idea to document your progress on
this ITP from time to time, by mailing <635930@bugs.debian.org>.

Thank you for your interest in Debian,
