Upgraded my Sheeva-Plug with Martin Michlmayr's instructions
(http://www.cyrius.com/debian/kirkwood/sheevaplug/uboot-upgrade.html) and
debian u-boot version

While the former u-boot 3.4.27 with pingtoo patch worked without any problems,
the new debian boot loader fails on startup:

Is that 2011.06-3 or earlier?

Could you please try downgrading to 2011.03-6 in wheezy and see if
the problem abates?

It's 2011.06-2, but I don't see any relevant changes between -2 and
-3.

Great.  I won't be able to do any testing on a Sheevaplug until
next week, but we may be able to solve this with different
hardware prior to that.

What is your hardware?  Did you try 2011.09-2 in wheezy or
2011.12-1 in sid?

Gernot: Clint recently uploaded 2011.12 to the archive.  Can you
please test if USB works with 2011.12 on your SheevaPlug?

Both, the SSD and my external usb-drive, were recognised and my little
server started without any problems. I'll test further and if i find any
bugs i will report them of course.
