Hello all,
I'm getting the error: bash: COMP_WORDS: bad array subscript
for python completion.
To reproduce:
- In a new terminal type: ./python [TAB]

Versions of packages bash-completion depends on:

bash-completion recommends no packages.
bash-completion suggests no packages.

I believe this the same issue you reported in #559953, and that it is
fixed in bash-completion 1.3.
