Package: wnpp
Severity: wishlist

Insight is THE gdb gui, and much better and faster than the all other
ones because gdb
is directly integrated in its source. It can also display the source
very nicely as c++ mixed
with assembler.

It was in the repository in the past, and removed due to mysterious
reasons, you should
put back

[Message part 1 (text/plain, inline)]
The reasons for removing insight were not mysterious, see #566579.
(embedded copies of other libraries is a substantial problem).
Integrating gdb into the insight source is a *bad* thing, not a good
one, it duplicates an existing package and would result in multiple
copies in the archive as well as on systems. See also #546825

An RFP bug also needs to document things like the URL of the package,
the licence(s) applicable and the programming language used. (Some of
those are obvious for insight, some are not) along with a likely
description of the package. (See any of the other RFP bugs filed
against WNPP).

Do you still want insight in Debian? (If not, this bug can be closed.)
