Subject: schroot: lvm-snapshot does not support /dev/mapper/VG-LV notation
Date: Tue, 26 Apr 2011 13:18:10 +0200
Package: schroot
Version: 1.4.21-1+b1
Severity: wishlist

Hi,

schroot does not seem to correctly grok the LV being given in the more
modern /dev/mapper/VG-LV notation, it prefers /dev/VG/LV. This should
either be fixed, accepting both notations, or the limitation should be
clearly documented and a descriptive error message should be generated
in the case of /dev/mapper, which is currently "volume group mapper
does not exist".

Greetings
Marc
