I also realise that Ubiquity is a fairly common name for an installer,
so if ubiquity-installer would be more appropriate for a package name,
please let me know. It's probably best to keep it called ubiquity since
it's called that in Ubuntu as well.

Not sure if the -installer or -live teams will be interested in this, I
will follow up.

Some dependencies required (available in Ubuntu and builds fine):

 * language-selector-common
  * gir1.2-vte-0.0
 * archdetect-deb
 * apt-clone

There's a depencency on ubiquity-casper, not sure how necessary it is.
It depends on plymouth and upstart bits that are uninstallable.

retitle 623790 RFP: ubiquity -- GUI installer for live systems
noowner 623790
tag 623790 - pending

Hi,

This is an automatic email to change the status of ubiquity back from ITP
(Intent to Package) to RFP (Request for Package), because this bug hasn't seen
any activity during the last 12 months.

If you are still interested in adopting ubiquity, please send a mail to
<control@bugs.debian.org> with:

 retitle 623790 ITP: ubiquity -- GUI installer for live systems
 owner 623790 !
 thanks

However, it is not recommended to keep ITP for a long time without acting on
the package, as it might cause other prospective maintainers to refrain from
packaging that software. It is also a good idea to document your progress on
this ITP from time to time, by mailing <623790@bugs.debian.org>.

Thank you for your interest in Debian,
