Has anyone looked at it in mod-php?
My logs are full of such log entries every minute.

Thanks for any help.

This sounds like too generic a description, try attaching a strace to an
apache child process so you catch what the process is doing before something
causes it to segfault...

Subject: setting memory_limit in .htaccess or Apache2 config causes segfault
Date: Fri, 15 Jul 2011 13:55:37 +0200
[Message part 1 (text/plain, inline)]
Hello

If there is a memory_limit directive either in a .htaccess file or in the
Apache2 config, I always get a segfault.

For example:

php_value memory_limit 10M

It doesn't seem to matter what the limit is. As far as I can tell, this
happens all the time some PHP script is accessed using a .htaccess file or
an Apache config file with this in it.

(Using Debian Squeeze)

Hi guys,

to properly diagnose the bugreport, we still need those backtraces.

F.e. here: https://bugs.php.net/bugs-generating-backtrace.php

Also please try not to merge several 'crashes PHP' together. The
issue reported by Jean-Christophe and Don could be in fact two
separate ones.

And last but not least we need versions of PHP installed on your
system and list of loaded apache modules.

O.

Hi Ondrej,

This is quite old and now I don't have the issue anymore.
As far as I remember, it vanished after I did some clean up on scripts and applications hosted by the server.
In particular, I suspect Munin was the cause of this segfault (I found some other people complaining about similar issues with it).

I am sorry I can't help anymore.

Thanks anyway.

Best regards,

--- Jean-Christophe Baptiste

me at work as well?

Since we are unable to reproduce the bug now, I will assume it has
been fixed (maybe it really was the postgresql/curl bug in fact).
