You didn't get libxft2 2.1.14-2.1 from Debian.  Closing as PEBCAK.

See my (and Julien's) reply to the bug you filed against lesstif2-dev. 
There is not, and never has been, a libxft2 package in Debian versioned
2.1.14-2.1.  Bugs resulting from locally built or third party packages
need to be resolved at source, not via the Debian BTS.
