Subject: libspe2: FTBFS: /bin/sh: epstopdf: not found
Date: Mon, 24 Jan 2011 16:10:46 +0100
Source: libspe2
Version: 2.2.80-95-3.1
Severity: serious
Justification: fails to build from source

libspe2 FTBFS in a clean sid chroot. Tail of the build log:

| cd doc/img; make
| make[2]: Entering directory `/build/sbuild-libspe2_2.2.80-95-3.1-i386-pApp47/libspe2-2.2.80-95/doc/img'
| dot -Tps singlemini.dot | epstopdf -f -o singlemini.pdf
| /bin/sh: epstopdf: not found

Perhaps build-dependency on texlive-font-utils is missing?

libspe2 has had no upload in over two years, and no maintainer upload in
almost three years; combined with the fact that it has no reverse
dependencies, and a reported popcon of 2, I do wonder if we should
simply not ship the package with squeeze.

Adam

I've added a removal hint.
