I have used this ugly commandline to insert a new song and play it in
MPD:
mpc update podcast; mpc add %U; mpc play `mpc playlist | wc -l`
(I was trying to use this from gpodder but it doesn't work, maybe
because of escaping problems...)
That being real clunky, I figured I could improve mpdtoys to do it for
me. mpinsert seemed to be the right program to hack, so I have generated
the attached patch that adds a -p flag to play the song immediately
after adding it.
Seems simple and useful enough? :)
