8.14.4-2 FTBFS with the new toolchain in Ubuntu Natty due to bad
ordering of the linker flags.  It still builds fine in Debian, but in
case you run into the same bug after a toolchain update, here's a fix.

Are you able to apply this fix in Debian, so we can sync the package 
across to Ubuntu.  I'm reluctant to apply it directly in Ubuntu, as it 
would cause divergence that i'd rather avoid with this package.
