What is this bug report about? Are you saying that you intend to
package mediadownloader or that you're requesting a package?

I have packaged mediadownloader. On mentors.debian.net
there is an old version with lintian warnings including:
W: mediadownloader: new-package-should-close-itp-bug

As you can see I am new to all this, I read the "How to report a bug"
page, surely I missed something ?

kind regards,
Marco

Ok, you want an ITP then. I've changed the title of the bug.

See http://www.debian.org/devel/wnpp/ for more information.

noowner 602259
thanks

Hi,

This is an automatic email to change the status of mediadownloader back from ITP
(Intent to Package) to RFP (Request for Package), because this bug hasn't seen
any activity during the last 6 months.

If you are still interested in adopting mediadownloader, please send a mail to
<control@bugs.debian.org> with:

retitle 602259 ITP: mediadownloader -- Search, preview, download with Google Image and YouTube
 owner 602259 !
 thanks

However, it is not recommended to keep ITP for a long time without acting on
the package, as it might cause other prospective maintainers to refrain from
packaging that software. It is also a good idea to document your progress on
this ITP from time to time, by mailing <602259@bugs.debian.org>.

Thank you for your interest in Debian,
