NAK, the time to fix wishlist bugs in squeeze is long past.

Wishlist? #601657 was filed with severity serious, and though I've
lowered the severity to "normal" because the bug doesn't render the
package unusable to everyone, the underlying argument is still valid.

To me, it's not an absolute must to have a non-debug version in Squeeze,
so I leave it up to you to decide whether 601657 is RC or not.

Cheers

I'd say the sane thing to do is to just provide the non-debug version.
Or just remove the broken assertion, since that's what that bug was
about. I'm not going to accept a packaging revamp which doubles the
size of the binary package.
