Subject: debian-maintainers: Please add Andrew Starr-Bochicchio as a Debian Maintainer
Date: Thu, 23 Sep 2010 16:16:51 -0400
[Message part 1 (text/plain, inline)]
Package: debian-maintainers
Severity: normal

Please add Andrew Starr-Bochicchio to the Debian Maintainer keyring.

I realize 1024D keys are being deprecated, but my application for
Debian Maintainership was sent on Fri, 10 Sep 2010 12:36:41 -0400
while the deprecation announcment was sent on Tue, 14 Sep 2010
00:18:48 -0500. So I believe that I fall under the "anybody who
is currently a DD or DM, or that has started his application towards
becoming one, will be allowed with whatever key they currently have"
language.

Thanks!

- Andrew Starr-Bochicchio

You need at least a signature with a key in the DD keyring.

As you need to get a new signature, please create[0] a 4Kb RSA key and
ask[2] Steve to sign it with his key in the DD keyring.

Hi,

After way too long, I've finally sorted this out. My new key (D53FDCB1)
is signed by Steve Langasek's new key (01AA4A64) which is in the DD keyring.

Attached is a new jetring changeset.

I realize that it has been a while. Do I need to re-declare to
debian-newmaint, or get my advocate to re-affirm?

Thanks,

Andrew Starr-Bochicchio
