Description : The privacy aware, personally controlled, do-it-all
social network.

Enter your Diaspora “seed,” a personal web server that stores all of
your information and shares it with your friends. Diaspora knows how to
securely share (using GPG) your pictures, videos, and more. When you
have a Diaspora seed of your own, you own your social graph, you have
access to your information however you want, whenever you want, and you
have full control of your online identity.

many gems dependencies are not yet in debian, some of them are there,
some of them are being packaged. Status of this task is tracked at
http://piratepad.net/tu0H1eU2vH

Currently debian ruby team is focusing on transition to new gem2deb
based packaging and new policy. So if you want to see diaspora in
debian sooner, help in this transition.

You have to keep reminding your government that you don't get your
rights from them; you give them permission to rule, only so long as
they follow the rules: laws and constitution.
