Package: wnpp
Severity: wishlist

* Package name    : libipc-session-perl
  Version         : 0.05
  Upstream Author : Steve Traugott <stevegt@terraluna.org>
* URL             : http://search.cpan.org/CPAN/authors/id/S/ST/STEVEGT/IPC-Session-0.05.tar.gz
* License         : Unspecified (Artistic ?)
  Programming Lang: Perl
  Description : Perl module to drive ssh or other interactive shell

This module encapsulates the open3() function call (see IPC::Open3)
and its associated filehandles. This makes it easy to maintain multiple
interactive command sessions, such as multiple persistent 'ssh' and/or
'rsh' sessions, within the same perl script.

Hello,

I have now joined the Debian Perl group and am
ready to help with the packaging of this CPAN module.

I've already packaged it for my own use, but the result is
probably not up to Debian standards (I have not used
dh-make-perl).

Thanks,
David Cho-Lerat.

retitle 588485 RFP: libipc-session-perl -- Perl module to drive ssh or other interactive shell
noowner 588485
thanks

Hi,

This is an automatic email to change the status of libipc-session-perl back from ITP
(Intent to Package) to RFP (Request for Package), because this bug hasn't seen
any activity during the last 6 months.

If you are still interested in adopting libipc-session-perl, please send a mail to
<control@bugs.debian.org> with:

 retitle 588485 ITP: libipc-session-perl -- Perl module to drive ssh or other interactive shell
 owner 588485 !
 thanks

However, it is not recommended to keep ITP for a long time without acting on
the package, as it might cause other prospective maintainers to refrain from
packaging that software. It is also a good idea to document your progress on
this ITP from time to time, by mailing <588485@bugs.debian.org>.

Thank you for your interest in Debian,
